Every so often I like to experiment a bit, especially so lately when I've been feeling restless with my usual make-up. Vampy looks are very on-trend this autumn, with dark eye make-up and lips, so I thought I'd give that sort of look a go.
I applied a warm medium brown eye-shadow all over my lid and on my bottom lid, leaving a only a bit of space between my brow and the shadow. I then applied a bit of a pinkish cranberry colour on my lower lid blended it with the brown shade. I added a bit of cream eye-shadow to highlight my brow bone, applied a thin line on my upper lid and waterline, and added a bit of a shimmery silver in the tear duct area. I finished the look by applying false lashes and a bit of powder, blusher, and a bit of contour to my face. I always use a light beige eye shadow for contouring my face, as every contour powder I've tried looks far too orangey on my skin -- a common problem with face make-up products for me!
And, of course, I can forget to mention the lipstick! I recently bought a tube of Diva lipstick by MAC, it's a lovely matte burgundy with an almost purplish undertone -- perfect for a vamp inspired look! I'm planning on writing a short review on it soon.
